Taegen McCarthy 2022 Level 3 SA Swimming Regionals held at Kings Park and produced a superstar performance!
Taegen competed in seven personal events, reaching the finals for all events and winning five Gold medals, one Silver and one Bronze. Taegen also achieved Personal Best times in ALL his events and obtained his SANJ time.
Taegen also competed in four relay events for which his team obtained one Bronze and two Silver medals.
He will now be competing in the Junior National Regionals to be held at Kings Park from 29 March to 2 April.
These phenomenal results are a true reflection of all the hard work and dedication that Taegen has put into his preparation for these prestigious events. Congratulations Taegen!!
Captain’s announced for Hockey and Rugby!
Congratulations to both Bagcine Gqweta (Hockey) and Owen Morgenrood (Rugby) who have both been announced as the 1st Team Captains for their respective teams.
A special mention to Owen Morgenrood as he has achieved the rare feat of being the 1st XV Captain in both his Grade 11 and Matric year.
